Quick brand critiques by a 5 year old — both the voice and candid impressions are adorable.

On GE: “That is the GE logo.  That’s where my grandpa works.”
On Chrome: “That looks like a beach ball.  Beach balls are VERY colorful.”

A lovely video shot by Fontaine of our JRCWP in Haiti.  It makes me so wistful — I hope we get to do this again together soon.

Simple visualizations of songs.  I love this one and “Stop in the name of love.”(via flickr)

We went to the opening for the Tim Burton Exhibit at the LACMA this weekend, and it was amazing.  I loved seeing his scribbles and sketches, the character models, and the actual costuming for so many of his movies.  The Jack heads from The Nightmare Before Christmas were my favorite — they had a display with about 50 different facial expressions modelled out.We weren’t allowed to take pictures, so I’m excited to see them up on Fubiz.(via fubiz)

Flash 6-course meal on the L train in NYC, where a course is served by waiters appearing at each stop.  Awesome.

missiongastroclub:

Another awesome time-lapse video, courtesy of our buddy Carlo, using some graphic elements made by our buddy Joe.  This time he mounted the camera over the top of the prep table so we get to see each dish come together in awesome clarity.  You can see the sous vide controller in the bottom-right of the screen, and the lemon bar mountain at the end is pretty great.

Music: Flip-Top Box by The Bel-Airs, 1961

This was the night I got to go!  I love the end where everyone mauls the lemon tower.

This video is slightly cheesy, but I was so happy to see that other people imagine fortune cookie fate like I do.  Although I didn’t exactly imagine Chinese men in the picture.
